Start by creating yourself an album. For this, simply go to your gallery settings in your profile. It's at the far left of the tab menu (Number 1).
To upload and/or create albums, look on the left side of the gallery section for Manage Personal Albums(Number 2). You will see different options such as Edit, Delete, Go To and Upload Image.
The Edit option will let you change the album's description. Delete will delete your album. Go To will direct you to all of your uploaded images and Upload will let you upload more images. Please be aware that when you upload images, there is a maximum size allowed and it will refuse your image if it exceeds that limit!

when you press on the Gallery button within the forum, you will see the following. take note of the number 1 and 2:
Number 1(Users Personal Albums): will bring you to all of the albums created by members.
Number 2(Your Personal Album): Will bring you to your album where you can Upload more images within that album instantly by clicking on the upload button. You also have the choice of editing that album's description.
